How we started…Stacey Wood began her study of herbs with the Connecticut Institute of Herbal Studiesspecializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Stacey continued her education at Goldthread Herb Farm & Apothecary in Conway, MA. Stacey completed the Community Herbalism Program, Clinical Herbal Program and recently the Farm to Pharmacy Program. David Soule also attended Goldthread Herb Farm & Apothecary. Here David completed the Community Herbalism Program & recently the Farm to Pharmacy Program. David comes from a long family line of avid gardeners. Both Stacey & David share an enormous passion for Herbal Plant Medicine & are members of the Connecticut Herb Association. Their desires are to share this with the local communities of Connecticut and the North East.

“Tonic” is David and Stacy’s  a new botanical boutique located in downtown Chester. Tonic is their dream to bring people together through plants and whole healing is a seasoned one. Tonic is a space to discover, enjoy, and fill your life with the very best in plant medicine and botanicals.
